Demonstrators packed Sankofa Square, waving Iranian flags and holding photos of victims while calling for regime change and outside pressure on Tehran, according to a Canadian Press report. Some participants said they did not want their full names published, citing safety concerns for relatives still in Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Toronto police were present in and around the square, and the demonstration remained peaceful with no arrests reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Canada, alongside G7 partners, has publicly urged Iranian authorities to end violence against demonstrators and uphold fundamental freedoms, including freedom of expression and peaceful assembly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
