On his official X account, Ekpa firmly stated, “The Biafra Defence Forces are not recruiting.” He elaborated that his attention had been drawn to a recruitment initiative allegedly spearheaded by an individual known as High Tension.
According to him, High Tension is not affiliated with the BLA, cautioning that those who engage in such recruitment efforts could face serious consequences.
