After being captured by the Biafra Liberation Army, a Nigerian soldier identified as Corporal Adewale of the Nigerian Army’s 16 Brigade who hailed from the South Western part of Nigeria was pardoned and allowed to return home to his family.

The injured soldier, who was recorded by the Biafran Liberation Army personnel, was asked to advise his fellow servicemen who had been sent to Biafra land to kill innocent youths in their communities, and he was heard telling them to return to their respective zones and fight for their nations.

The voice of the BLA official who made him speak assured him that Nigeria will never defeat the Biafra Liberation Army.

The video was shared by Prime Minister Simon Ekpa who said that releasing the captured soldier would be his gift to the Yeroba people, while advising that there will be no such pardon again.

Taking to X, Ekpa shared the video and wrote, “This is our gift to the Yoruba nation, corporal Adewale was captured by the Biafra Liberation Army. He will be freed today to join his family as a gift to Yoruba people. We call on Yorubas to recall all their servicemen serving Nigeria within Biafraland and killing our people in Biafraland. This will never repeat itself again. The Highest Command of the Biafra Defence Forces has ordered his release as a strong message to the Nigeria terrorist state and terrorists @HQNigerianArmy. He will be giving transportation fair to enable him return to his family. Those of you still killing our people in Biafraland, you may not be this lucky.”

Watch the video below.

This video follows a post by the Prime Minister who shared that Nigeria soldiers are receiving treatment at local hospitals in their number after encoutering the Biafra Liberation Army.

Recall that TBPA News had earlier reported that Nigerian police alleged to have arrested some youths in Nnewi who confessed to being cultists without evidence.

Note that news like this is not reported by the Nigerian state news channels, even when they are reported they are carefully crafted without using the ‘Nigerian Army’ to avoid humiliating the state armed forces. Headlines like “How we captured terrorists to defend Biafrans – Simon Ekpa‘ are used and the video will never be featured in the story. However, TBPA News will publish the news as it happened.
