The Biafra Republic Government in Exile (BRGIE) continues to engage with international representatives to strengthen its position and foster discussions on its aspirations.
Recently, the Minister of Finance, Ogechukwu Nkere, and the Director of Foreign Affairs in the USA, Ada Eze, met with Congressman Ronny Jackson (R-TX), a prominent member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
During this extensive discussion, the ministers focused on recent developments within Biafra and the diaspora community in America. The dialogue underscores the BRGIE’s commitment to engage with key stakeholders to promote awareness and gather support for its initiatives.
Both officials were especially interested in the congressman’s insights on his recent visit to several countries in Africa, which coincided with their purpose of discussing strategies for Biafra’s growth and stability.
The interaction also served as a significant platform to reinforce the relationship between the Biafran-American community and U.S. lawmakers.
